San Jacinto Mud Pools

Overview

San Jacinto Mud Pools are located 20 minutes from the city of León in the town that bears the same name, this destination originated by volcanic faults full of geothermal activity and information with an area that covers 10,000 mts- We will admire the power of nature in bubbling pools that emanate from the earth’s crust at a temperature between 80 and 100 degrees Celsius. This volcanic activity in the form of mud pools is connected with the Telica – Rota – Santa Clara volcanic complex, which are located on one side of this fascinating destination.

We will visit the entire site in the open air where we will also have the opportunity to observe or buy souvenirs made from clay by locals.
